Since Alone Together is a concept album, it is worthwhile paying
attention to the lyrics and the track titles, which ingeniously form one
sentence that describes the content of the record. It talks about
different kinds of loneliness and estrangement, about being "alone
together" in various sorts of relationships - with a friend, a partner
and the family.
